Celebrating silver at the Practical Pre-School Awards

Another award for the cabinet, this time from Practical Preschool in their best Teacher Resources category

We are celebrating our innovative software receiving a silver award in the teacher resources category at this year’s Practical Pre-School Awards.

iConnect and ParentZone were entered into the teacher resources category at the long-running awards event where products are tried and tested by an independent panel of testers.

Products are tested against criteria including ease of use, originality, value for money and adaptability before being given an overall score from the testers.

Designed to help nurseries become more efficient whilst improving engagement with parents, our iConnect and ParentZone software received a score of 83.9% with judges commenting:

“This product is excellent for early years because we were able to access children’s data immediately in one place. The app is a good tool for capturing significant learning for children. It is very convenient and you can manage children’s learning journeys, attendance and much more. Overall, it is a useful app and easy for staff to navigate.”

Darryl Reardon, Head of UK Sales and Marketing at Connect Childcare, collected the award at the event in Birmingham. He said:

“The Practical Pre-School awards have a strong reputation for delivering reliable, informative and trustworthy reviews of products in the childcare and education sectors.

“There were a wide range of products entered into the teacher resources category this year, from nursery management software to mud kitchens and books. We were delighted that the professionals responsible for judging our category recognised the value of iConnect and ParentZone and how they can streamline administrative processes for early years settings whilst helping to develop essential relationships with parents.”
