The COVID pandemic has highlighted the critical importance of educating our children, nurturing our future generations, and protecting their potential to prosper. With the help of two Government grants, EYFSHome has created over 600 activity videos and 150 story readings to support families with children under five, as well as advice videos for parents and a curriculum map to help Early Years professionals plan remote learning, most of which are available right now on ParentHub.

EYFSHome has now teamed up with professional Rugby player Jack Maunder, from Premiership
Rugby Club Exeter Chiefs, to create Bounce Back Jack. A story that motivates children, families,
and carers to be resilient, “to try, try again”. Bounce Back Jack inspires its readers to persevere with positivity and relentlessly keep trying to triumph.  Profits from the book will go to Jack’s chosen charity.

On Thursday 14th January, Jack and childrens’ author Sarah Griffiths will launch the book with a takeover day on EYFSHome & our very own ParentHub. Jack and fellow players Ben Moon, Jack Yeandle, Jack Nowell and Henry Slade will read the book, and Jack will lead video activities for children and their parents and carers to take part in – including ball skills, fitness and yoga. Furthermore, Jack will be taking part in an interactive session at his old school, Blundell’s Preparatory School.

ParentHub, now has hundreds of activities available across home learning, home activities, nutrition, mental health and sleep advice – all easily accessible within our award-winning app ParentZone.
