iConnect Version 2.1 Ready for Launch
So what can you expect?
- New Frameworks
iConnect now caters for Every Child’s A Talker (ECAT) Curriculum for Wales (CW) Pre-Birth to Three (SPB3) and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) to name just a few.
- Activity Planning
We have created a planning calendar on iConnect for staff members to plan activities with their Key Children. Practitioners can create a selection of activities within the ‘Manage Activities’ screen in iConnect settings. When creating your activities you can specify which part of the framework the activity relates to so you can link it with a child’s next steps.
- Enhanced Provision Planning
The new planning feature also includes enhanced provision. To encourage practitioners to bring in opportunities for new learning. iConnect allows you to plan enhancements for your children based on existing interests or new experiences.
- Learning Styles
You can select whether your key child is learning visually, auditory, or kinaesthetically on every observation. A new report has been created to allow you to have an overview of learning styles for each child so that you can adapt future learning activities to better support each child’s individual learning style
