The team at Connect Childcare are celebrating after our ParentZone app was shortlisted for a prestigious international education award alongside companies from the USA, India, Singapore, UAE, Spain and Portugal.

We are one of 12 finalists in the best paid for ICT/App Product at the GESS Education Awards which will be held in Dubai in March.

The fourth annual Global Education Supplies and Solutions Awards will highlight and reward the quality and diversity of educational products, resources, services and people. The awards aim to encourage the raising of educational services and product standards throughout the industry and are seen throughout the sector as the accolade of excellence.

We are looking forward to the judging panel learning more about our ParentZone app and the huge impact it has had on the childcare sector in a short period of time.

ParentZone is a unique resource for nurseries which allows parents to access a Facebook style timeline of their child’s day and view descriptions, photos and videos of wow moments. They can stay in touch with their child’s day wherever they are and can interact with staff by responding to posts or uploading details of their child at home.

More than 65,000 parents used ParentZone in the first year after its launch and with a prospective customer base of 1.4million UK parents with children currently in day care and many more internationally, it has huge onward potential.

We work with over 1000 nursery and childcare settings in the UK alone and can use the data held by their systems to make a real difference to the childcare industry and the educational outcomes of the next generation. We look forward to sharing this exciting product with an international audience at the GESS awards and trade show and hopefully bringing home a trophy!
