Back in 2005 founders, Ann and Danny Gallagher were running a very popular Childminding business. With the numbers of children they were dropping off and collecting from school each week rapidly growing; opening Kilsyth Children’s Club was the logical next step. With a shortage of quality childcare options in the area, they focus on offering flexible out of school and holiday club care to suit the needs of busy families, allowing families to chop and change their bookings whenever they need to.
The duo were managing their invoices and bookings on excel spreadsheets, which meant a lot of time was spent on manual data input.
We were spending almost one week every month manually invoicing. It was extremely time consuming to send out the invoices and then to correct all the mistakes that were in themexplains Ann. After mistakes in the booking spreadsheet left them having to make last minute arrangements when they had more children in than expected, they decided to start looking for alternative management systems.
