Connecting Childcare is back & you’re invited!
Connecting Childcare Webinar: Self Regulation with Sue Asquith
Back in 2020, we introduced our extremely successful free webinar series ‘Connecting Childcare’ which was launched to help keep the sector informed during an extremely difficult time. We worked with some really exciting, high profile guests and even saw registrants of up to 1000 people for some of our sessions.
We haven’t held a webinar in a while, so we are SO pleased to tell you that we are bringing it back! In a week’s time, we’ll be holding a free, 45-minute webinar that will cover everything you need to know about Self-Regulation Skills in Young Children. To accommodate your working hours, we are holding our first ever evening session!
You're invited!
When: Thursday, 29 April 2021, 19:00 PM – 19:45 PM GMT.
What’s it about: This session is aimed at Early Years Practitioners. The theory can be easily applied in childcare settings and shared with the parents at your setting.
Join us next week as we cover:
- What is meant by self-regulation and executive function
- Making child and brain development easy to understand
- What self-regulation looks like in practice – examples of how you can support young children on their self-regulation journey
- How early years practitioners can support children to develop it
- Q&A with Sue Asquith
Host: We will welcome Guest Host, Sue Asquith – Early Childhood Consultant. Sue’s experience in the early years sector began in 1998 as a registered childminder (graded Ofsted Outstanding twice).
