Free Webinar: Supporting SEND and Wellbeing in Early Years Education
At Connect Childcare, we’re passionate about championing our customers and supporting the wider early years community. One of the ways we do this is by offering free, valuable content to childcare professionals like you. We believe in providing opportunities for you to learn, grow, and connect with some of the best experts in early years education.
That’s why we’re so excited to announce our upcoming webinar, in partnership with Mini Minds Matter. We’ll be joined by Julie Robinson, Early Years Specialist and founder of Mini Minds Matter, who will share practical strategies, resources, and insights to help you create a more inclusive, calm, and supportive environment for every child in your care.
But that’s not all! Jackie Hyde Owner-Manager at Stanmore Insurance Brokers and dot2dot Nursery Insurance, will also be joining us. Jackie will share some fascinating insights from ongoing research with the University of Bolton into the rising number of children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and the growing need for support in early years settings. This research explores the challenges faced by nurseries and offers new ideas and strategies to improve support for children, nurseries, and their families.
Jackie said, “At Stanmore, we have had a children’s nursery insurance product for 21 years. We have built relationships with our nursery community, which has the children they care for at the heart of everything they do. We are now witnessing them struggling to cope with the growth in children with SEND attending their settings. We are committed to supporting initiatives that make a real difference in our communities and this was an obvious fit. Funding this SEND PhD studentship aligns with our goal of giving back and creating a lasting impact, particularly in nursery education and inclusivity.”
